Who we are

Grounded in Ghana’s money realities

Junctionimpulse is a Kumasi-based financial literacy initiative launched in 2023 to help households and community groups manage everyday money with confidence. We are young, attentive, and committed to practicality.

Our mission

We simplify budgeting, savings, and risk awareness for people juggling multiple income streams. By translating financial concepts into everyday language, we empower participants to make steady decisions and grow their resources.

Our approach

We blend in-person sessions, digital worksheets, and follow-up phone support. Each touchpoint encourages dialogue, reflection, and habit-building rather than overwhelming lectures.

Our story so far

2023

Launch in Kumasi

We piloted budgeting circles in three neighbourhoods near Asafo Road, equipping caregivers with the first version of our cash flow tracker and savings canvas.

Early 2024

Mobile-friendly worksheet rollout

Feedback showed a need for guides compatible with lower-data smartphones. We introduced compressed PDF kits and WhatsApp prompts.

Mid 2024

Partnerships with cooperatives

We collaborated with artisans and traders to align budgeting tools with seasonal cash cycles, improving alignment with susu contributions.

Today

Expanding practical confidence

Our modules now support youth groups, micro-entrepreneurs, and families balancing school fees, rent, and business reinvestment across Ghana.

Principles we live by

Listen first

We begin with conversations about aspirations, obligations, and cultural practices. Listening reveals motivations that make budgeting stick.

Keep it practical

Our worksheets and checklists focus on realistic timelines, achievable targets, and simple language grounded in everyday transactions.

Respect context

We acknowledge the informal economy, communal support systems, and fluctuating incomes that define the Ghanaian money landscape.

Build confidence

Every touchpoint is designed to celebrate progress, encourage reflection, and reinforce calm, informed money choices.

150+

Households and micro businesses have tested our budgeting frameworks within our first year of operation.

Methodology in practice

Our facilitators combine storytelling, scenario planning, and data capture to make money questions approachable. Sessions include role-playing real spending dilemmas, reviewing case studies, and co-creating action steps participants can try immediately.
